Sitting with the Questions

In a few weeks, we set off for the Delta. Right now, we’re sitting with the questions.

Not just the questions we’ll be asking our interviewees — but the ones we’re asking ourselves.

Are we offering enough space for people to tell the harder truths?
Do our questions reflect the radical heart of the project — the stories of displacement, resilience, and quiet resistance that run alongside the river?

Are we listening not just for history, but for futures that have yet to be written?

This is the work before the work. The pages fill slowly. The questions sharpen, soften, shift.
