Jeremiah and I hiked the 3 miles in the noonday sun through the wastelands for a refreshing swim in the cool desert waters of the Little Colorado River. Worth every minute.

I met you on the Ohio River near Portsmouth a few years back. Since then I have had a change of address. Glad to know you are still chasing rivers. We live in Tempe still, but have a summer home near Show Low AZ. It was interesting to see you on the Little Colorado. That is a dry and dusty land! It makes you appreciate the W VA hill country. Someone should build a pipeline from the Mississippi to the Colorado. Just think of all that water going into the Gulf of Mexico! or is it the Gulf of America now.
