We had the honor of bringing Dotty to the remarkable NUNU Arts & Culture Collective in Arnaudville earlier this week. The night unfolded in true Louisiana fashion: a community potluck, incredible live music from Maya Kamaty, and an open invitation for folks to climb aboard the shantyboat, share stories, or just hang out.

And hang out they did. We welcomed so many generous, curious, and kind people—artists, neighbors, passersby—each bringing their own spark to the evening. Maya’s performance was electric and soulful, filling the space with rhythm and warmth. It felt like a perfect reminder of why we do this: to gather, to listen, to float into new conversations.

Huge thanks to the folks at NUNU, George Marks, Maya and her band, and everyone who made us feel at home. We won’t forget it.
