Even as I sit in this internet cafe in Galena, Illinois, she sits at my feet devotedly and patiently waiting for me to finish here.

    Hi Wes,
    Just thought I’d respond to your comment above. I check your blog every night so you and Hazel both are being followed at least by me. By the way I’m the guy that rode motorcycle down to La Crosse, WI. last year and visited with you a bit when you were waiting for your replacement phone. Sorry to here of your run in with the DNR. Those boys don’t cut any slack! Also have you heard of the three guys doing the Mississippi with the website called River Signal. If not check it out.

      Duane, I remember you. We are very excited to meet our friends at the river signal, but they’re headed down the river so much faster than us we are afraid we’ll never catch up. They are already in St. Louis, and we don’t plan to go much further than that this summer.
